Chocolate fish

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The chocolate fish is a confectionery from New Zealand. These candies are fish-shaped, are 6 to 8 inches in length, and are made of pink or white marshmallow covered in a thin layer of milk chocolate.

Retailers normally sell chocolate fish individually in a standard size, but in recent years large "Giant Fish" and packets of small "Spratz" have also come into circulation.[citation needed] The fish has circulated in electronic form as an email attachment symbol.[citation needed]

Chocolate fish have entered the New Zealand culture to the extent that the phrase "Give that man a chocolate fish" has entered into the language. The role of chocolate fish as cultural icon seems largely confined to New Zealand, although the confection has become available for purchase in some other countries.[citation needed]

The choco fish, a traditional way for recognising someone for doing an excellent job in something in New Zealand.

Ever since I started working, I've been getting awards, and last month, I was awarded the Christchurch branch choco fish for doing a fantastic job. awesomes.

Hope I get another soon hehe.
